The driving force behind Abingdon Dance Studios, Shell grew up dancing in these very rooms — and now leads the school she loves with the same standards and warmth it has been known for since 1965.
Her focus is simple: high-quality teaching in a welcoming space where every dancer, of every age and level, feels encouraged and proud of how far they have come.
Bio
Shell is the Owner and Principal of Abingdon Dance Studios and leads the school with a strong focus on high teaching standards, positive learning, and a supportive studio environment.
Shell was taught to dance at Abingdon Dance Studios and later trained as a dance teacher under the IDTA, giving her a deep understanding of the school's values, teaching approach, and long-standing standards.
Having grown up within the studio, Shell took over the day-to-day running of Abingdon Dance Studios before becoming the owner. She is committed to maintaining the quality and ethos the school has been known for since 1965, while supporting dancers of all ages and abilities to grow in confidence, skill, and enjoyment.
Shell's focus is on creating a welcoming environment where every dancer feels encouraged, supported, and proud of their progress.
